Juveniles Crash Stolen Automotive Close to White House: Officials – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles had been injured Monday after crashing a stolen automobile into a concrete security barrier near the White House, the U.S. Secret Service said.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to pull over the automobile about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The automotive slammed into a concrete barrier and a phone pole at 17th Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officers said.

Video shows a silver sedan partly crumpled in the front across the road from a Secret Service guard publish, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the highway.

There have been two juveniles in the car. Both were taken to a hospital and are now in stable situation, officials stated. We don't know their actual ages.

They’re expected to face fees.

D.C. police are investigating.
