BARNSTEAD, N.H. -- A man was arrested Friday after multiple indicators saying "school shooter" have been found in Barnstead, Epsom, and Pittsfield, New Hampshire, the state's Division of Security introduced. Man Hanson, 61, of Pittsfield, faces a number of prices.

An elevated quantity of police officers had been positioned at colleges within the communities on account of the signs. A number of faculties initiated lockdowns as a precaution shortly after.

Hanson allegedly positioned the signs across the communities, the Department of Safety stated, but they decided there isn't a credible risk at the moment.

One such sign was written on a paper plate. The protection division launched a photograph of the plate but blurred part of it "to guard the integrity of the investigation." 

Hanson was arrested on a felony cost of felony threatening and three misdemeanor fees including false report to law enforcement, false public alarm and felony threatening. He is being held in Merrimack County Jail pending a hearing scheduled for Tuesday.

No other suspects have been charged at this time.
