DALLAS - The excessive court docket will permit a wrongful death lawsuit to proceed against town of Dallas and 4 law enforcement officials.

The family of a man who died in police custody in 2016 sued.

Tony Timpa known as police for assist as he had a drug and mental health crisis.

The Supreme Courtroom upheld a federal appeals court docket’s ruling that will enable the case to proceed.
