Teen arrested after mother seen son had gun at Texas school drop-off

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD/Grey Information) - Several businesses responded to a center faculty in Texas Friday morning after an adolescent’s mom seen he was carrying a gun.
Police in Lubbock inform KCBD a mom was dropping off her 15-year-old son at O.L. Slaton Center College round 9 a.m. when she seen the firearm. The teenager never made it inside the constructing, and he ran from the college.
The Lubbock Police Division responded to the area along with a number of other companies in an try to find him.
The teenager was discovered close to the school’s campus and brought into custody.
Authorities stated the 15-year-old may very well be going through a felony weapons charge.
Police say there was no menace made to the college or anyone inside the varsity.
O.L. Slaton Middle College was briefly placed on lockout because of the incident.
