The Uvalde Police Division and the Uvalde Unbiased College District police force are not cooperating with the Texas Department of Public Safety's investigation into the massacre at Robb Elementary Faculty and the state's review of the legislation enforcement response, a number of legislation enforcement sources inform ABC Information.

The Uvalde police chief and a spokesperson for the Uvalde Independent College District didn't immediately respond to requests for comment from ABC Information.

In line with sources, the choice to cease cooperating occurred soon after the director of DPS, Col. Steven McCraw, held a information conference Friday during which he stated the delayed police entry into the classroom was "the incorrect determination" and contrary to protocol.
