A girl visiting Yellowstone National Park was gored by a bison and tossed into the air, park officials mentioned Tuesday.
The 25-year-old lady, who was visiting from Ohio, was not identified in a information release from the park.
The girl approached the feminine bison Monday morning after it got here near a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, near Previous Devoted geyser, the park mentioned.

An estimated 2,300 to five,500 bison stay at the park, and so they have injured more people than some other animal, the park stated.
When the visitor came inside 10 ft of the animal, the bison impaled her and "tossed" her 10 feet within the air, the park stated.
The woman had puncture wounds and other injuries and was taken to a hospital in Idaho, the service mentioned. Her situation was unknown Tuesday.
Two different people have been additionally near the animal when it gored the lady, the park mentioned. The release didn’t say in the event that they had been injured.
The park warned folks to remain 25 yards from bison, elk, bighorn sheep and moose and at the very least 100 yards from bears and wolves.
