New York intercourse worker Angelina Barini sentenced to 30 years for fatally drugging 4 males

The pattern was nearly similar.

Between July and August 2019, intercourse employee Angelina Barini met together with her clients at motels in New York Metropolis before giving them harmful doses of medication that incapacitated them. Then, she would rob the men and leave with their personal belongings.

4 of them, together with a distinguished Italian chef, died of overdoses from the medication, court docket records state.

In August, Barini pleaded guilty to distributing drugs that killed her shoppers, including fentanyl and gamma-butyrolactone, known for causing irrational conduct, extreme illness, coma and demise.

Final week, a judge sentenced the 43-year-old Barini to 30 years in prison.

“The defendant drugged and killed a number of individuals for a number of fast dollars,” Breon Peace, the U.S. lawyer for the Japanese District of New York, said in a news release. “She stole their personal belongings while they lay unconscious dying from the lethal medicine she gave them.”

Barini met her first sufferer at a motel in Astoria, Queens, on July 4, 2019. There, she gave the man fentanyl-laced medication and left the room. Police found him lifeless hours later, court information state.

Every week later, on July 11, Barini had an encounter with another man at a motel in Woodside, Queens, the place she gave him fentanyl-laced drugs. The person also died of a drug overdose, a complaint states.

The subsequent month, on Aug. 5, Barini met her third victim in College Level, Queens, and again gave him fentanyl-laced medicine that led to a deadly overdose, prosecutors mentioned.

Later that month, on Aug. 18, Barini met her final recognized sufferer, Andrea Zamperoni — a chef for the high-end restaurant chain Cipriani — inside an Elmhurst, Queens, motel room, the place she drugged him with gamma-butyrolactone, generally often called a “date rape” drug. The man died shortly afterward.

That day, court information state, Barini repeatedly tried to dispose of the sufferer’s physique. Barini wrapped Zamperoni’s physique in bleach-stained sheets and placed it inside a trash bin, in response to prosecutors. Zamperoni was reported lacking on Aug. 21, prosecutors said. That very same day, the New York City Police Department found the person’s body within the motel room.

Based on courtroom records, when authorities knocked on the room’s door, Barini opened and swiftly shut it. Once investigators made it into the room, they noticed a strong odor — that of a decomposing physique and burning incense, the criticism states.

Barini told investigators that “she did not do it,” but also that her “pimp” made her do it. Contained in the motel room, authorities discovered a number of objects, together with a credit card belonging to Zamperoni and a glass pipe used to smoke medication, courtroom records state.

When authorities later interrogated her, Barini said Zamperoni had agreed to pay her for intercourse. When she woke up, Barini stated, he was unresponsive and bleeding from the nose and mouth. Her pimp, she added, wouldn't let her name the police.

Fernando Dallorso, the general supervisor of Cipriani in New York, instructed the New York Instances that Zamperoni was a “dedicated arduous employee” who cooked six days every week and “never missed a day of labor.”

The kitchen employees mourned the loss, Dallorso informed the Times.

“Everyone in the kitchen right now could be heartbroken, from the dishwasher to the chef,” Dallorso said.
