Taliban chief orders girls to put on all-covering burqa in public: Decree

Afghanistan’s supreme leader and Taliban chief on Saturday ordered the nation’s women to put on the all-covering burqa in public - one of the harshest controls imposed on ladies’s lives for the reason that Taliban seized energy.

“They should put on a chadori (head-to-toe burqa) as it is conventional and respectful,” said a decree issued by Hibatullah Akhundzada that was released by Taliban authorities at a operate in Kabul.

“These women who should not too outdated or younger should cover their face, besides the eyes, as per sharia directives, with the intention to avoid provocation when meeting men who are usually not mahram (grownup close male family members),” the decree mentioned.
