The household of an 11-year-old woman who survived the massacre at Robb Elementary Faculty in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday says the 4th grader performed lifeless after the gunman entered her classroom.

Miah Cerrillo's aunt and godmother said the 4th grader is struggling to manage and telling them what she witnessed throughout the taking pictures.

"Round midnight my sister-in-law referred to as me and he or she was just crying, like 'I think it just hit Miah. I feel the whole lot came to reality now,'" stated Blanca Rivera.

Rivera stated Miah's instructor, Irma Garcia, was one of many two academics killed. Her pals and classmates have been additionally targeted.

Rivera mentioned that's when Miah went into survival mode.

"Miah received some blood and put it on herself so she could pretend she was dead," said Rivera.
