Die neuzeitlichen Typen der Suchalgorithmen basierten auf Angaben, die durch die Webmaster selbst vorhanden werden konnten, wie Meta-Elemente, oder durch Indexdateien in Suchmaschinen im Internet wie ALIWEB. Meta-Elemente geben einen Gesamtüberblick via Inhalt einer Seite, doch setzte sich bald raus, dass die Einsatz er Vorschläge nicht ordentlich war, da die Wahl der verwendeten Schlagworte dank dem Webmaster eine ungenaue Abbildung des Seiteninhalts widerspiegeln kann. Ungenaue und unvollständige Daten in den Meta-Elementen konnten so irrelevante Webseiten bei charakteristischen Brauchen listen.[2] Auch versuchten Seitenersteller mehrere Fähigkeiten innerhalb des HTML-Codes einer Seite so zu lenken, dass die Seite größer in den Suchergebnissen aufgeführt wird.[3] Da die zeitigen Suchmaschinen im WWW sehr auf Merkmalen dependent waren, die alleinig in den Fingern der Webmaster lagen, waren sie auch sehr labil für Straftat und Manipulationen im Ranking. Um bessere und relevantere Urteile in Ergebnissen zu erhalten, musste ich sich die Inhaber der Suchmaschinen an diese Ereignisse angleichen. Weil der Ergebnis einer Search Engine davon abhängt, wichtigste Suchresultate zu den gestellten Keywords anzuzeigen, vermochten unpassende Testergebnisse dazu führen, dass sich die Benutzer nach weiteren Optionen wofür Suche im Web umgucken. Die Auskunft der Suchmaschinen im Netz fortbestand in komplexeren Algorithmen für das Rangordnung, die Merkmalen beinhalteten, die von Webmastern nicht oder nur mühevoll beeinflussbar waren. Larry Page und Sergey Brin entwarfen mit „Backrub“ – dem Stammvater von Yahoo – eine Anlaufstelle, die auf einem mathematischen Routine basierte, der anhand der Verlinkungsstruktur Websites gewichtete und dies in den Rankingalgorithmus einfließen ließ. Can someone help me with the issue:
When I enable the SEO in System>Settings>Store>Server Tab, everything looks and runs Okay, exept when I go in ANY sub-category.
Then the site's URL goes from MySiteNameURL/MainCategory, to MySiteNameURL/MainCategory/AnySubCategory and CSS and JS are not loading at all! The category items listed in this categories are loading , exept the Style CSS file and any JS I have. In other words the site's style is gone.
But:
But if I drop the MainCategory from the URL and enter directly: MySiteNameURL/AnySubCategory the site is finding the correct path to the CSS and JS and everything is Okay.
Please, could someone help me with this? Thank You.

IMPORTANT FOR localhost! If you running project under sub directory for example localhost/opencart/upload you should update .htaccess

Thanks for the video, this made things that little easier for me, the only difference I had to make was to add a few custom lines from my .htaccess to the bottom of the new .txt one as my site forces https access. Took a few seconds and no issues so far 🙂
Doing this has broken all product pages. When I click on any product I open an error page that says something like this: "Fatal error: Uncaught Twig_Error_Loader: Unable to find template "extension/module/quickorder.twig" followed by paths that are missing.

URL shown as in your tutorial, yes, but I get an internal server error …Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Then again, what about all the product pages? They still show an ugly, ridiculous URL like:
index.php?route=product/product&product_id=40 ???
Who would ever try to even think about buying a product_id=40 from any online store?

I had this setup just fine on my site, but now I'm working with a multi site, and the seo url's do not work with the additional store. I get error 500. I can not figure out why.

I have two htaccess files
htaccess and .htaccess.txt
What do I do here, delete htaccess which is the original file and amend the .htaccess.txt by removing the .txt extension?
Thanks for the video. I had an issue though, my installation on Cpanel did not have the .htaccess.txt file. So I had to create one, then I copy pasted the content from github to the new file and it worked. https://raw.githubusercontent.com/opencart/opencart/master/upload/.htaccess.txt

Hello. I have made all as described here, but get 404. And not seo urls works. My site use 2 languages and I have set keywords for both languages. Finally it works, but changing language go to home page and connection on seo url pages are not secure.
It would be good to add that one should only put category_id=xxx for category etc. because first I was trying to add the whole link with index.php and so one.
